SDS-PAGE analysis of recombinant Human interleukin-25 Recombinant Human interleukin-25 (PHP300) was analyzed under reducing denaturing conditions (Lane 2). The molecular weight (kDa) of the marker proteins (Lane 1) are displayed on the left hand of the image. Bands were visualized using Coomassie stains. The purified recombinant interleukin-25 runs at a higher molecular weight than the theoretical molecular weight. This is likely due to the presence of posttranslational modifications as a result of the expression of the recombinant interleukin-25 in the mammalian cell line HEK293.
